Direct Hit in Downtown Sloviansk
According to Vadym Lyakh, head of the Sloviansk City Administration, the rocket impacted Postova Street in the city center around 7:00 AM, damaging high-rise buildings and disrupting the morning calm.
The precision of the strike and the choice of target — residential structures in a densely populated area — have led to a sharp increase in civilian distress and displacement.
The attack on Sloviansk was not isolated.
Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported simultaneous attacks across the region, including the outskirts of Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk, and the Bakhmut districts.
Specific incidents cited include a fatality and two injuries in Ocheretyn, where two high-rise buildings suffered damages. Krasnohorivka endured an airstrike, while Katerynivka and Elizavetivka faced artillery fire.
