These images revealed the construction of a new anti-aircraft defense system close to the president's Novo-Ogarjovo residence, as reported by VG. This development has also been highlighted by other Russian media outlets, including the online platform, Reportjor.

This is reported by the Norwegian media VG.

Moscow, a city already fortified with an air defense system, raises questions about the perceived threats that have led to the establishment of this new defense mechanism. Reportjor suggests that the existing air defense system in Moscow is primarily designed to counter ballistic missiles and not drones, which they colloquially refer to as "flying scooters." The current defense system wasn't designed with drones in mind, as they weren't perceived as a significant threat when it was initially established.

According to Reportjor, there's a growing concern over potential Ukrainian drone attacks. These drones are not just capable of carrying explosives but also nerve agents. The possibility of a Ukrainian drone targeting Putin directly is something that cannot be entirely ruled out, as per the media outlet.

Rossija-1, in its report, also emphasized that the newly constructed anti-aircraft system, believed to be of the Pantsir-S1 type, is specifically designed to defend against potential Ukrainian drone attacks. Over the past few months, Moscow and other Russian cities have reportedly been targeted by alleged Ukrainian drone strikes. One notable incident occurred in May when the Kremlin was attacked.

However, not everyone is convinced that Ukraine was behind these attacks. The American think tank, Institute for the Study of War, speculated that Russia might have orchestrated the attack themselves with a specific agenda in mind.

Notably, the main actors involved in this geopolitical drama have been in the spotlight for various reasons in the past. Vladimir Putin, Russia's long-serving president, has been a central figure in global politics for decades. His leadership style, decisions, and Russia's interactions with neighboring countries, especially Ukraine, have been subjects of intense debate and scrutiny.
