A group of saboteurs has reportedly escaped from Ukraine into the village of Grajvoron in Belgorod Oblast, causing alarm and issuing a stark warning to the inhabitants of Belgorod and Kursk regions.
Urgent Evacuation Plea
The group has made an urgent appeal to the local residents. "Your authorities have not taken any action to protect or evacuate you, and the shelling of peaceful towns and villages in Ukraine continues. We are forced to return fire on military targets. Evacuate yourselves immediately," was stated in a recording.
Attacks on Belgorod
Since the early hours of the day, Belgorod has been under attack with rockets and drones. These assaults have resulted in one fatality and three injuries among the civilian population.
Deadline for Military Response
Denis Kapustin, the commander of the Russian Volunteer Corps — a faction comprising Russian citizens fighting alongside Ukraine — announced in a video message published at 8:14, "We will open fire on military targets within 1.5 hours of this video message."
