Military support for Ukraine is significantly declining.
Over the past week, several countries, including Sweden and Norway, have announced new support packages for Ukraine.
However, Ukraine is facing major challenges regarding military support.
It has now reached its lowest level since the start of the Russian invasion.
This was reported by SVT.
"Only a Matter of Time"
There are believed to be two reasons for the record-low support. It's partly due to the political will of many Western countries and partly due to the military equipment these countries can spare.
The lack of support could now have major consequences.
"Without it, it's only a matter of time before Ukraine's ability to resist the Russian attack crumbles," says Jörgen Elfving, an expert in military intelligence.
Uncertain Future
New figures from the Kiel Institute for the World Economy show the declining support. According to the institute, economic and military support has dropped by 90 percent between August and October compared to the same period last year.
Meanwhile, the future of continued support for Ukraine remains uncertain.
The report reveals that Ukraine relies on a group of countries for support.
"Ukraine is now increasingly relying on a core group of donors such as the U.S, Germany, and the Nordic and Eastern European countries that continue to promise and deliver both financial support and important weapons."
