Chechen soldiers loyal to Ramzan Kadyrov, known as "Kadyrovtsy," were caught on CCTV looting an electronics store in the village of Glushkovo, located in Russia's Kursk region.

This village is just 10 kilometers from the gray zone near the ongoing conflict and is currently controlled by Russian forces.

The video, shared on local Telegram channels, shows two Kadyrovtsy breaking into the store through a window and attempting to force open a door. They are then seen taking phones from the shelves and leaving through the same broken window.

Glushkovo has become more isolated after the Ukrainian Air Force destroyed the Seim River bridge, a key route for transportation. With this bridge and others nearby destroyed, parts of the Glushkovsky district could be cut off from the main Russian forces.

While reports of Russian troops looting in their own territory have surfaced, Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region are focused on providing help.

The Ukrainian military has started a humanitarian operation in the areas they control, delivering food, water, and medicine to civilians.

Many of these civilians are elderly, disabled, or families with children who have been largely abandoned by Russian authorities.

On August 16, Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, announced that 150 food packages had been prepared in the Sumy region and sent to Russian civilians in the conflict zone.

Plans are also being made to involve international humanitarian organizations to ensure aid reaches those in need.
