U.S. Calls Chinese Soldiers Fighting for Russia “Disturbing”.

The United States expressed deep concern after reports confirmed that Chinese nationals were captured fighting alongside Russian troops in Ukraine.

State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce has just addressed the issue at a press briefing, following President Volodymyr Zelensky’s statement that two Chinese nationals were captured in Donetsk Oblast.

Bruce also noted that North Korea’s involvement in the war was alarming and tied it to China’s broader support of Russia’s military campaign.

“China is a major enabler of Russia in the war in Ukraine,” Bruce said.
“China provides nearly 80% of the dual-use items that Russia needs to sustain the war.”

According to President Zelensky, Ukrainian forces clashed with six Chinese fighters near the villages of Tarasivka and Bilohorivka. Two were captured and are now held by Ukraine’s Security Service.
