Ukrainian defense forces continue to target Russian air defense systems deployed on the Crimean peninsula, according to a statement from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Last night, our troops once again targeted Russian anti-aircraft missile systems stationed on the Ukrainian peninsula," the statement read.

The operation included a coordinated missile strike targeting one S-300 anti-aircraft missile division near Belbek and two S-400 anti-aircraft missile divisions near Belbek and Sevastopol.

Confirmed hits were reported in the targeted areas.

"As a result of the strikes, two radars from the S-300 and S-400 systems were destroyed. Information about the third radar is still being verified," the General Staff added.

Additionally, subsequent explosions of munitions were recorded in all three areas where the Russian anti-aircraft missile divisions are located.

Ukrinform also reported that Russian forces are constructing an oil pipeline from Novoazovsk to Berdyansk in the temporarily occupied territory.
