In an extraordinary display of skill and precision, soldiers from the 3rd operational brigade of Ukraine's National Guard, known as "Spartan," successfully destroyed an enemy "Lancet" unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) using only small arms.

This remarkable feat occurred in the Zaporizhzhia direction, as reported by the Eastern Operational and Territorial Unit of the National Guard of Ukraine.

The "Lancet," an attack UAV deployed by enemy forces, was moving from the temporarily occupied territories towards the positions of Ukrainian troops. Artillerymen from an observation group spotted the drone, and it was subsequently shot down by three servicemen wielding AK-74 rifles.

The UAV was hit with such accuracy that it exploded in the sky, with its remnants falling just 30 meters from the intended target.

This incident highlights the challenging conditions faced by the Ukrainian forces. Servicemen in this front line area are frequently required to engage with various types of enemy UAVs, including "ZALA," "Orlan," and "Lancet," using small arms.

Despite the inherent difficulty in shooting down a target like a UAV with a Kalashnikov assault rifle, the soldiers of the Spartan brigade demonstrated exceptional skill and readiness to execute complex combat missions.

This successful engagement against the "Lancet" UAV not only showcases the high level of training and expertise of the Ukrainian National Guard but also serves as a significant morale booster for the troops, proving that they can effectively counter sophisticated enemy equipment with limited resources.
