Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban recently voiced his concerns that the recent attempt on former U.S. President Donald Trump's life might not be the final one.

A Phone Conversation

Speaking in Băile Tușnad, Romania, Orban suggested that further efforts could be made against Trump. The event was broadcasted by M1 television according to Lenta.

Orban disclosed that he had a phone conversation with Trump, during which the former president expressed his mission to restore the United States to a "national state" from what he described as a "post-national liberal state."

Orban implied that Trump's opposition to certain liberal policies is the reason for various legal and personal attacks against him, including efforts to imprison him and seize his assets.

Extreme Actions Pursued

According to Orban, when these measures fail, more extreme actions, like attempts on his life, are pursued.

The remarks come after Trump revealed on his social media platform, Truth Social, that he plans to hold another campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

This is where an attempt on his life occurred on July 13th, during which Trump sustained an ear injury.

The assailant, Thomas Matthew Crooks, a local resident, was shot and killed by Secret Service snipers during the incident.
