The Cunning Plan
Poor Missy spent a whole month at the shelter before realizing what had happened. The woman wanted to help Missy and teach her neighbors an important lesson, so she decided to adopt the dog, saying, "I can see she has been depressed and stressed [at the shelter]."
She shared a picture of Missy at the shelter and one after her arrival at her new home, showing the significant difference a few hours can make in a dog's life. "This is Missy at the shelter and when she realized she never has to go back," she wrote alongside the pictures.
The Former Owners Haven't Noticed Yet
Missy has now been living with the woman for a few days, and her former owners have not yet noticed her in the garden.
The woman added, "It seems like she is relieved to be here. She has not yet seen the neighbors. Missy always ran to the fence to give kisses when I went outside, so we have always had a really good relationship."
