In global politics, public messaging is as powerful as policy. And now, China has chosen video as its latest tool.

A recent clip posted by China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is making waves, writes Ziare.

It speaks directly to the international community, asking countries to resist what it calls the “bully” leadership of the United States.

The video is narrated in English and has Chinese subtitles. The message is direct. “Bowing to a bully is like drinking poison to quench your thirst.

It only deepens the crisis,” the narrator says. The short film accuses the U.S. of pushing its power through economic pressure and intimidation.

China doesn’t hide its anger. It claims that American actions have forced companies like Toshiba and Alstom into collapse or financial crisis.

It refers to these cases as proof of what it calls aggressive U.S. economic behavior.

At the same time, the video paints China in a very different light. According to the narration, China is open, stable, and offers a fair ground for business and investment.

It says that China will not back down. “No matter how strong the winds blow, China will remain firm,” the voice declares.

The clip also uses strong imagery. It compares the United States to a “paper tiger,” suggesting it looks dangerous but is actually weak.

It points out that U.S. trade makes up less than one-fifth of global trade. In other words, it argues, America is not the whole world.

China’s government ends the message with a call to other countries. It urges them not to follow America’s lead but instead to stand firm.

The video says someone has to “shine a light” through the fog of global confusion. It presents China as the one willing to take that step.

According to Beijing, justice, peace, and global fairness are at risk. The message is bold.

The tone is confrontational. But one thing is clear: China wants the world to choose sides. And it wants those sides chosen now.
