Pence’s decision to drop out was announced during his speech at the Republican Jewish Coalition Conference, where he stated, “It’s become clear to me it’s not my time. Speaking in Las Vegas on Saturday, Trump highlighted the number of endorsements he has received from other candidates who have exited the race, adding, “I don’t know about Mike Pence; he should endorse me. He should endorse me, you know why?
Because I had a great successful presidency, and he was the vice president. He should endorse me.”

Pence has faced criticism from both independents and MAGA Republicans, primarily due to his association with the Trump administration and his refusal to support Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election results.
