The campaign of former President Donald Trump has unveiled a new strategy to attract Latino voters with the release of a salsa song titled "Qué Mala Kamala."

A Chorus Mocking Kamala

This catchy tune, which debuted at the start of Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States, aims to resonate with a key voter demographic that could play a crucial role in the upcoming November elections, according to El Economista.

The song, inspired by Cuco Valoy’s hit "Juliana," features a lively salsa rhythm and a chorus that mocks Vice President Kamala Harris.

The accompanying video shows Trump driving a golf cart and playing the song, interspersed with clips of Harris laughing, reinforcing the song's satirical tone.

Protecting the American Dream

In a statement, Jaime Flórez, Trump’s Hispanic communications director, criticized Harris and the Biden administration, alleging they are pushing "failed communist policies."

Flórez emphasized that Trump is committed to protecting the American Dream and making life more affordable for families. He also noted that throughout Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15 to October 15, the campaign will share messages aimed at the Latino community.

Earlier this year, the Republican campaign launched "Latin Americans for Trump," a coalition featuring prominent Latinos from various fields. In response, Vice President Harris released her own video, "Luchadora," highlighting her efforts on immigration and her role in combating criminal organizations.

The Latino electorate is projected to reach a record 17.5 million voters this November, according to the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO). Both parties are intensifying their outreach efforts to secure this crucial voting bloc.
