Former President Donald Trump sparked online buzz by sharing AI-generated images that imply pop star Taylor Swift and her fanbase, known as "Swifties," are backing his bid for the White House.

Swifties for Trump

In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump shared several photos of smiling Swift fans wearing shirts emblazoned with "Swifties for Trump."

The post, which Trump captioned "I’ll take it!", quickly gained traction, receiving over 9,000 likes, according to 20Minutos.

One of the images appears to be a screenshot from a satirical website, claiming that Swift fans turned to Trump after her concerts in Vienna were canceled due to a thwarted terrorist attack.

Another image showed Swift dressed as Uncle Sam, with the message, "Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump."

AI Generated Photos

Despite the online chatter, it's important to note that Taylor Swift has not publicly endorsed any candidate for the upcoming election. In the 2020 race, she supported Joe Biden.

Recently, there was speculation about her support for Vice President Kamala Harris after a silhouette resembling Harris appeared on her Instagram. However, it was later revealed to be one of her dancers.

Swift's influence, especially among younger voters, remains significant, but there is no indication that she has thrown her support behind Trump or any other candidate in the 2024 race.

The images shared by Trump were purely generated by artificial intelligence and should not be taken as genuine endorsements.
