Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to discuss the restoration of Ukraine’s energy system and the implementation of the Peace Formula.
Zelenskyy announced the details of this discussion on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
During their meeting, held on the sidelines of the Ambrosetti Forum, Zelenskyy and Meloni focused on the restoration and rebuilding efforts in Ukraine, particularly its energy infrastructure.
Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for Italy’s commitment to hosting the next Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine, scheduled for 2025.
In addition, Zelenskyy highlighted Italy’s active role in advancing the Peace Formula, acknowledging the support of Meloni and the Italian people in working toward a just peace.
Zelenskyy arrived in Italy on September 6 and participated in the 50th international Ambrosetti Forum. During his visit, he also engaged with representatives from over 30 leading Italian companies.
This visit underscores Italy's significant involvement in Ukraine’s recovery and the ongoing efforts to implement peace initiatives.
