Delicious Apple Pancakes for Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 1 apple

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tablespoons of sugar

  • A pinch of salt

  • 150g yogurt

  • 140g flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

Instructions

  1. Take an apple, wash and peel it, then grate it down to the core. Place the grated apple in a bowl.

  2. In another bowl, crack an egg and add the two tablespoons of sugar. Mix well, then add the grated apple. Stir thoroughly.

  3. Add the yogurt to the apple and sugar mixture and mix well.

  4. In a separate bowl, thoroughly mix the flour and baking powder. Gradually sift and add the flour to the apple, sugar, and yogurt mixture. Stir until you have a smooth batter.

  5. Heat a non-stick pan with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Use a spoon to drop the batter into the pan, forming several pancakes. Fry the pancakes well on both sides for about 3 minutes.

  6. Once cooked, place them on paper towels to drain any excess oil. Then, generously dust them with powdered sugar.
