Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, was recently photographed in Scotland on her way to Crathie Kirk church in Balmoral.

Heading to Sunday Service

This marks her first public appearance since completing her chemotherapy treatment. Middleton was spotted in the passenger seat of a car driven by her husband, Prince William, according to the Daily Mail and Ziare.

The couple was heading to Sunday service, where they joined King Charles and Queen Camilla.

The royal family was in Balmoral, where they traditionally spend time during the summer. Balmoral Castle has been a royal retreat since it was purchased in 1852. It was also where Queen Elizabeth II passed away on September 8, 2022.

Limited Public Appearances

Back in March, Kate revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer, though the exact nature of her illness has not been disclosed.

At the time, she shared that she was undergoing preventive chemotherapy. Since then, her public appearances have been limited, with a notable one being at Wimbledon in July, where she received a warm reception from the crowd.

On September 9, the Princess of Wales announced she had completed her chemotherapy, expressing relief but noting that her recovery journey is still ongoing. Despite this, she has slowly resumed her royal duties. According to a royal circular, she attended a meeting of one of the charities she sponsors on September 17.

Her cancer diagnosis was revealed just weeks after King Charles announced his own health issues, though the details of his condition remain private.
