Princess Kate of Wales is set to attend the men's singles final at Wimbledon on Sunday, marking her second public appearance since a surgery six months ago revealed she had cancer, requiring ongoing chemotherapy.

Return to Public Duties

According to Ziare the 42-year-old princess, who is a passionate tennis fan and patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, is undergoing preventative chemotherapy.

Despite her health challenges, Kate returned to her public duties in June for the annual "Trooping the Colour" parade, expressing her hope to attend more events this summer. "I'm making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy knows, there are good days and bad days," she stated last month. Kensington Palace has not disclosed specific details about her cancer or medical condition, other than confirming her treatment began in February.

Sunday's Wimbledon final promises excitement as Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic face off in a repeat of last year’s thrilling match, which Alcaraz won in five sets. Djokovic, aiming for his 25th Grand Slam title, hopes to reclaim his dominance after recent setbacks, including an early exit from the Australian Open and an injury at Roland Garros.

Meanwhile, Prince William is expected to be in Berlin for the Euro 2024 final between England and Spain.
