In a surprising twist, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has constructed an octagon in his backyard, fueling rumors of a possible UFC fight against SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Zuckerberg's decision to build the octagon has not gone down well with his wife, Priscilla Chan, who expressed her displeasure in a WhatsApp conversation shared by Zuckerberg on Instagram.
The conversation began with Zuckerberg asking his wife if she had seen the newly built octagon, to which she responded affirmatively but tersely. Zuckerberg praised the structure, but Chan was not impressed, pointing out that she had been working on the yard's grass for two years.
Zuckerberg also posted a poll asking whether to "Keep the octagon" or "Save the grass."
Speculation about a fight between Zuckerberg and Musk has been gaining momentum. UFC Featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski, who recently trained with Zuckerberg, confirmed that the Meta CEO is serious about the fight.
UFC President Dana White also chimed in, stating that such a match would shatter all pay-per-view records and raise hundreds of millions of dollars for charity.
