Cristiano Ronaldo and his family are preparing for life after football, but they’ve encountered an unexpected setback in Portugal.
Not Enought to be Famous
The Portuguese superstar recently attempted to enroll his children in St. Julian’s, an elite school in Lisbon.
However, despite his status as one of the world’s most famous athletes, Ronaldo’s children were denied admission, according to Digisport
St. Julian’s is known for catering to the children of Portugal’s wealthiest families, and its exclusive nature makes it one of the country’s most prestigious schools.
While Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodríguez, had hoped to secure a future spot for their kids, the school's administration, reportedly influenced by parents already enrolled, opposed the admission of Ronaldo's children. It seems that the star’s fame was not enough to sway the decision.
Preparing for Life After Football
Ronaldo is currently playing for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, but him and his family is laying the groundwork for a return to his home country.
He recently made headlines for purchasing what is considered the most expensive home in Portugal.
Located in Quinta da Marinha, just 30 kilometers from Lisbon, Ronaldo’s new mansion is worth an estimated 21 million euros, reflecting both construction costs and extensive renovations.
