Android users can finally rejoice as a long-awaited update to Google Calendar is here.

Keeping track of daily life just got easier with the introduction of a new feature that integrates tasks into a full-screen view directly within the app.

The update allows users to see all their tasks — both with and without deadlines — in a single, comprehensive overview. This makes planning on the go more efficient and improves overall usability.

Previously available only in the web version, the feature is now being gradually rolled out to both Google Workspace users and personal Google Accounts, according to CHIP.

The task list can be found in the top bar of the app, right next to the "Today" button. Clicking the icon opens the Google Tasks homepage directly within Google Calendar, streamlining task management.

Google's goal is to make it easier for users to keep track of their appointments and to-do lists without needing to switch between multiple apps.

While the update is a big step forward, Google Tasks still falls short compared to competitors like Todoist and Microsoft To-Do in terms of advanced features.

Nevertheless, this update makes Google Calendar significantly more user-friendly and is a welcome addition for those looking for a simple, integrated planning tool.
