Google Maps has introduced a brand-new feature that will make your travel experience even smoother – the ability to find and reserve parking spaces in advance.

This new function has been developed in collaboration with SpotHero, and helps drivers plan their journey with greater ease by allowing them to secure parking before they arrive at their destination.

Instead of circling the block looking for parking, users can now search for parking spots near their destination, such as "parking at the Royal Arena."

Along with the usual list of parking locations, a new "Book" button appears next to spots that can be reserved.

Once you select a space, Google Maps will direct you to SpotHero’s site via a popup window, where you can complete the reservation without having to leave the app.

This new feature helps save time and reduces the stress of hunting for parking upon arrival, as noted by Mobilsiden.

Where Can You Use It?

The feature, powered by SpotHero, is available in over 300 cities across the U.S. and Canada.

It’s designed to make parking easier and more efficient, giving users one less thing to worry about when navigating busy cities.
