The OnePlus Watch 3 has officially launched, and it’s bringing serious competition to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7, as reported by the tech magazine Giga.

With a dual-chip system, extended battery life, and high-precision fitness tracking, OnePlus is stepping up its smartwatch game.

At the heart of the OnePlus Watch 3 is a dual-chip setup.

The Snapdragon W5 handles power-intensive tasks, while the BES2800 chip takes care of everyday functions, keeping energy consumption low. This allows for impressive battery life — up to five days in smart mode and 16 days in power-saving mode.

Even with heavy use, the watch promises at least three days, which easily beats Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 7, which typically lasts only two.

OnePlus is targeting fitness enthusiasts with over 100 sports tracking options, an improved GPS module, and detailed health insights. The 60-second health check monitors heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and vascular age, while the built-in ECG function offers deeper heart monitoring. The watch also provides real-time carbohydrate consumption analysis during workouts.

Unlike Samsung’s Galaxy Watch lineup, which is optimized for Samsung devices, the OnePlus Watch 3 runs Wear OS 5 with full access to the Google Play Store. This means it works seamlessly with any Android smartphone, giving it a broader appeal.

Price, Availability, and Exclusive Pre-Order Bonuses

The OnePlus Watch 3 hits stores on February 25, 2025, with a price tag of €349. Early buyers can grab a €50 discount and a free gift, choosing between OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro or OnePlus Buds 3, valued at up to €100. The pre-order promotion is only available while supplies last.

With a sleek design, superior battery life, and full Wear OS 5 integration, the OnePlus Watch 3 could become a major challenger in the smartwatch space.

The big question: Can it lure Samsung users away, or will the Galaxy Watch 7 hold its ground?
