To avoid excessively long loading times for videos or web pages on the internet, a straightforward adjustment can make a significant difference.

Experiencing a poor internet connection, especially when waiting for videos or web pages to load, can be extremely frustrating. Fortunately, a quick and simple technique can alleviate much of this frustration.

With the increasing demands of teleworking, leisure activities, and email communication, our home Wifi networks are under constant strain.

This can sometimes lead to slower connections.

Consider the Router

Your internet box includes a modem, which receives the internet signal, and a router, which distributes this signal to devices like phones, tablets, and computers. As the box is typically left on all the time, the router is always active.

According to the Journal du Net, optimally restarting your Wifi requires a simple step that should be performed at least once a month. This involves merely turning off the router.

By doing so, you clear the router's cache, which consists of accumulated data, thereby ensuring a more stable connection.

Therefore, it's a good practice to periodically switch off your internet box.
