After weeks of speculation, it's now official — the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will launch globally on March 2.
The announcement comes just a day before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, where Xiaomi is expected to unveil its entire 15 series, according to GSMArena.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra: What’s Inside?
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is shaping up to be one of the most advanced smartphones of the year.
Leaked details suggest it will feature a powerful camera system with four rear cameras: a 50 MP wide-angle, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle, a 50 MP short-range telephoto, and an impressive 200 MP long-range telephoto.
Under the hood, it is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, ensuring top-tier performance. The phone will also come with a 6,000 mAh battery, supporting 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It will run on HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15.
With the Ultra series, Xiaomi continues to target the high-end smartphone market, competing directly with Samsung and Apple.
The price of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to be similar to that of its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
The phone will first launch in China on February 26, followed by its global debut on March 2. Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch date in a post on the social media platform X.
Now, the big question remains — can Xiaomi meet expectations and deliver one of the best smartphones of the year?
