Netflix has unveiled a thrilling addition for its subscribers, announcing that "Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition" will be accessible through the App Store, Google Play, and the Netflix mobile app starting December.

This announcement follows the buzz created by Rockstar Games' revelation about "Grand Theft Auto 6".

In response, Netflix has excitedly informed its subscribers that they will have the opportunity to play "Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition" as soon as December.

Netflix Expands Gaming Catalog with "Grand Theft Auto" Trilogy Starting today, (November 29), fans can pre-register to play "Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition".

This collection includes the iconic titles "Grand Theft Auto III", "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City", and "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas", all revamped for mobile devices, as per the announcement.

Netflix's decision to add the trilogy to its offerings is a strategic move, aligning with Rockstar's plan to release the first trailer for "Grand Theft Auto 6" in December.

While the individual games of the trilogy were previously available for mobile devices, they were not offered in the "definitive edition". Attempts to play "Vice City" on a smartphone recently resulted in a message indicating compatibility with older software versions only.

Adding to the holiday cheer, Netflix ensures that the refreshed trilogy will be available on smartphones just in time for the festive season.

It's a perfect escape for those needing a break from holiday preparations, like assisting with Christmas Eve cooking or shoveling snow in anticipation of family gatherings and Santa's visit.
