"It's our favorite," says one fan, echoing the sentiments of many after Walkers announced the discontinuation of its Worcester Sauce flavored crisps.
The Midlands-based crisp maker, known for iconic flavors like Ready Salted, Salt and Vinegar, and Cheese and Onion, has left fans disappointed with this decision.
"Harder to find, but still available"
Daz, a fan of the flavor, took to Facebook to express his dismay, stating, "Worcester Sauce French Fries getting harder to find, but still available. My favorite."
"I loved that flavor"
Lesley, another fan, was straightforward in her love for the discontinued flavor, saying, "I love that flavor."
"They have been so hard to find"
Steve pointed out the scarcity of the flavor even before its discontinuation. "They have been so hard to find for years, even looked miles away to find them. Seabrook are ok but really miss Walkers Worcestershire Sauce crisps," he said.
"Get rid of the prawn cocktail"
Pauline suggested that Walkers should consider discontinuing a different flavor instead. "I miss the beef and onion ones, they should get rid of the prawn cocktail one nobody in my house won’t eat them and I end up throwing them in the bin," she commented.
In response to the public outcry, Walkers confirmed the discontinuation on Twitter, stating, "Hi, we're sorry but Worcester Sauce flavor is no longer part of our range."
