Eight-year-old William Ryan has become an internet sensation after a video of him dancing to Michael Jackson's iconic song "Thriller" went viral.
William, who is on the autism spectrum, was vacationing with his family in St Ives, Cornwall, England, when he decided to showcase his dance moves in front of a local store.
Captured by a webcam, the video of William's delightful performance has since been shared worldwide.
The store in front of which William danced posted the video on their Facebook page, stating that the young boy had won their webcam competition. The heartwarming video has been viewed thousands of times, and William has been invited back to the store to receive his prize, which includes toys and a vacation in the town.
William's mother, 34-year-old Gemma, played the song on her phone while her son danced on the promenade, delighting other vacationers.
She told the Daily Mail that William fell in love with Michael Jackson's music two years ago and has since taught himself to dance like the King of Pop. William has never taken dance lessons but has spent countless hours watching YouTube videos of Michael Jackson to learn the steps.
It was William's idea to participate in the webcam competition with his "Thriller" dance. The video has not only won him a prize but also the hearts of people around the world.
