A woman named Charlotte has gone viral on social media after sharing a humorous story about a postman who delivered "more than just a package" to her home.
Posting under the username @justcallme_charlotte, she entertained her 25,000 followers with a video claiming that a Royal Mail postman took a "massive dump" in her toilet while on his delivery route.
Charlotte, who speaks with a Leeds accent, explained that the postman had just delivered a package to her and returned shortly after to ask if he could use her toilet.
Assuming he needed to urinate, she let him in. However, she became suspicious when he spent an unusually long time in the bathroom. When he finally emerged, she was greeted by a terrible smell.
In the video, which has garnered over 4,200 likes, she questioned what the proper protocol might be when your Royal Mail delivery person takes a "giant crap" in your toilet.
She said: "I was sitting earlier waiting for a package. There was a knock on the door, and I got my package. A minute later, he knocks again: 'Excuse me. Could I use the toilet?' I thought, 'I won't deny anyone the use of the toilet, so go ahead.'"
She added, "He went to the bathroom. He spent a really long time. A really, really long time! I thought, 'Oh my God, he's setting up cameras in my bathroom.' So I started recording on my phone because I'm paranoid as hell."
However, that wasn't the case: "Five minutes later, he comes out of the bathroom and says, 'Thank you, love. Have a good day.' I thought, 'What the heck?'" She then realized why he had spent so much time in there: "The smell hit me, man. He took a huge dump in my toilet. I feel violated."
