The situation in the Middle East has raised many concerns over the years, especially regarding Iran's nuclear ambitions.
Recently, reports have surfaced that Iran is secretly working on developing nuclear missiles.
These missiles are reportedly based on designs provided by North Korea and could potentially reach areas in Europe, reports Ziare.
The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has been vocal about these developments, claiming that Tehran is advancing its nuclear missile program.
According to sources, Iran is using two secret sites to develop these missiles. These sites are disguised as facilities for launching communications satellites.
However, they are actually being used for the production of nuclear missiles. The sites are believed to be controlled by Iran's nuclear weapons division, the Organization for Advanced Research in Defense (OPRD).
Soona Samsami, the U.S. representative to the NCRI, accused Iran of using deception to advance its nuclear program.
She argued that for over 20 years, Iran has used negotiations and leniency from the West to make progress on its nuclear weapons.
One of the secret missile bases is located about 35 kilometers from the Iranian city of Shahrud. It is said to be where experts are working on a nuclear missile, the Ghaem-100, which could reach a distance of 2,800 kilometers.
This range would allow Iran to target countries such as Greece or Israel. So far, three successful missile tests have been conducted, and tests for a more advanced missile, the Ghaem-105, are expected soon.
Another secret site is located 69 kilometers southeast of Semnan. This site is reportedly used for producing missiles inspired by North Korean designs, such as the Simorgh missile, which is similar to the UNHA-1 missile.
The site has been expanding since 2005, with new buildings being constructed to support the missile program.
The regime has tried to hide the activity at these sites by using underground facilities and labeling them under different names.
These revelations about Iran's secret nuclear missile program have raised alarms about global security.
The international community continues to monitor the situation closely, as the potential consequences of these developments could be far-reaching.
