A wave of Russian aerial bombs struck Kupiansk in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region.

Russian aircraft unleashed guided aerial bombs on the city of Kupiansk in Ukraine’s northeastern Kharkiv region on Thursday, April 11, injuring several civilians and setting buildings ablaze, according to initial reports from Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.

One of the bombs landed in the yard of a private residence, damaging the building and sparking a fire. Another strike reportedly hit a medical facility, setting ablaze eight garage units and three medical vehicles.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene to contain the fires and assess the extent of the damage.

At least three people were reported injured in the attack.

This was reported by United24 Media.

The strike on Kupiansk comes just days after a separate Russian drone attack on April 8 hit Kharkiv and Dnipro, injuring at least 16 people.

That assault, which involved a series of explosions, was part of a broader escalation in attacks on urban centers in eastern Ukraine.
