Russian Hackers Expose Personal Information of Ukrainian Security Agents

A Russian hacker group known as EvilWeb has leaked sensitive data from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) into the public domain.

A Wide Range of Sensitive Information

Announcing the breach on their Telegram channel, the hackers claimed to have infiltrated all SBU divisions after months of work, revealing significant vulnerabilities within the agency, this is reported by russian media such as URA.

The hackers boast access to a wide range of sensitive information, including databases, encryption keys, IP addresses, emails, and server networks.

The leaked data includes the names, contact details, and social media profiles of SBU employees, making it accessible to anyone interested. Moreover, EvilWeb is reportedly selling confidential information about SBU agents for a staggering $400,000.

Disclosed Identities

In a related incident, members of another hacking project, Nemesis, disclosed the identities of 800 Ukrainian soldiers involved in attacks in the Kursk region.

This list included members of the 82nd Airborne Assault Brigade and the 61st Mechanized Brigade, along with around 200 foreign mercenaries from countries like Israel, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Syria.

This breach marks a significant escalation in cyber warfare tactics, reflecting the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

The exposure of sensitive information could pose serious risks to the safety and security of Ukrainian operatives and disrupt their military strategies.
