Russia's war in Ukraine, ongoing for over 940 days, continues to escalate with unpredictable developments.

A Warning to the UK

Recently, a Russian TV channel aired a chilling simulation of a nuclear attack on London, a city of 9 million people.

The video depicted the catastrophic consequences of a 750-kiloton nuclear bomb hitting the British capital, leaving the city in ashes, according to Ziare.

According to Metro, the simulation estimated that 850,000 people would be instantly vaporized, with an additional 2 million injured. The video, about four minutes long, seemed to serve as a warning to the UK against allowing Ukraine to use Storm Shadow missiles to strike Russian targets.

Imagine a Nuclear Attack on London

The video, shared on the pro-Putin Telegram channel Tsargrad, begins ominously: “Imagine for a moment the unimaginable. A nuclear weapon explodes over London.”

It details the impact of a 750-kiloton warhead, creating a fireball with a radius of 950 meters (3,117 feet), incinerating everything in its path. The epicenter of the hypothetical blast was set at Westminster, with surrounding areas like Camden Town, Kensington, and Brixton facing the most severe damage.

Estimates in the video predict that over 250,000 people would die initially, with 600,000 more injured within a six-mile (9.6 km) radius. Fires would engulf the city, destroying gas stations, vehicles, and vital infrastructure. The destruction would extend from Camden to Greenwich and from Islington to Wandsworth.

The video, originally released three months ago, resurfaces amid rising tensions, highlighting the nuclear threat's grim reality. While meant as propaganda, the simulation underscores the severe consequences of nuclear conflict.
