Ukrainian partisans from the Atesh group claim that the condition of the Crimean Bridge is deteriorating significantly, raising concerns about its structural integrity.

Urgent Repairs Needed

Spanning 18 kilometers, the Crimean Bridge is a crucial logistical link between the Russian-occupied Crimean Peninsula and the Taman Peninsula.

It plays a vital role in supporting Russian military operations in the region. However, according to Atesh, urgent repairs are needed as various structural components of the bridge begin to fall apart.

"The Crimean Bridge is living its final days," a representative from Atesh stated. "Due to ongoing damage, the structural elements are degrading, leading to the collapse of certain parts. The attitude toward its condition is increasingly dismissive, with little attention being paid to its state."

Strikes in Aread Around Bridge

The damage has been exacerbated by multiple strikes from Ukrainian forces targeting the area around the bridge.

Partisans note that recently there has been a decrease in the number of air defense systems protecting the structure, making it more vulnerable. However, Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk has not confirmed these claims.

Despite the reported decrease in defensive measures, experts assert that Russia is utilizing a full array of air defense systems, including the advanced S-500, S-400, S-300, and Pancyr-S1. These systems are critical components of Russia's air defense strategy, designed to intercept various aerial threats, from drones to ballistic missiles.
