In a recent development in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, the Federal Security Service (FSB) has detained a Russian citizen in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Recruited by Ukraine's Ministry of Defense.
According to Tass the individual is accused of passing sensitive information about Russian military units to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) via Telegram, according to a statement from the FSB's regional office.
The FSB's investigation revealed that the detained individual had been recruited by the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense. Operating under the GUR's instructions, the suspect collected and transmitted detailed information about Russian military units.
