In the past 24 hours, nine people, including two children, were injured in the Kharkiv region due to Russian shelling, reports Ukrinform. Private homes, vehicles, and a logistics facility were damaged, and several grass fires broke out.
Oleg Synehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, shared this information on Telegram.
The shelling hit the city of Lyubotyn in the morning, damaging homes, windows, roofs, and cars. Six people, including two girls aged 14 and 16, sustained minor injuries.
In the Solonytsivska community, shelling caused a grass fire over 500 square meters and damaged a car. A 46-year-old man was hospitalized due to injuries.
Around 10 a.m., a logistics facility in Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi was damaged by shelling, and an 88-year-old woman was injured in Kupiansk later that afternoon.
Shelling in the Derhachi community damaged vehicles, though no one was hurt. A private home in Novooosynove was also damaged. In the evening, a 24-year-old man was injured by an explosive device near Izium and was hospitalized.
Throughout the day, fires spread in various locations, affecting areas of grass and forest in Kivsharivka, Borova, Losivka, and Kolodiazne.
Additionally, 115 families were relocated from the village of Studenok, while 15 families left the Kharkiv region for safer areas.
Russian forces continue to shell the region, causing civilian casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.
