On the night of October 8, Ukrainian Air Defense Forces destroyed three Russian Shahed 131/136 drones over the Mykolaiv region, according to a statement from the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration posted on Facebook.
The region did not experience any direct attacks overnight.
The Shahed 131/136 drones, which have been used by Russia throughout the war, were brought down by Ukrainian defense systems.
Although no direct strikes were recorded overnight in Mykolaiv, previous Russian attacks have affected critical infrastructure.
Recently, a fire broke out in the Bashtanka district of the Mykolaiv region following a Russian attack on an important facility.
