As reported by Wirtualna Polska, the Ukrainian Navy has successfully intercepted a Russian Kh-59 missile using the VAMPIRE system. The missile, launched from a Russian Su-57 fighter jet, was targeting civilian infrastructure at the commercial port of Pivdennyi.
This event marks the first publicly documented instance of the VAMPIRE system being used against such a target.
