Soldiers from the 425th Separate Assault Battalion "Skala" successfully stormed enemy positions in the Pokrovsk area with the support of two American-made M1117 armored personnel carriers. This development was reported by Militarnyi.

The battalion’s press service released footage of the operation on Telegram, showcasing the assault strategy.

According to the unit, the first armored vehicle sped toward the enemy position, drawing their fire and forcing the occupiers to focus their attacks on it.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian bomber drones and FPV drones targeted the landing site of the main assault group.

As the occupiers used their drones on the first M1117, the second armored personnel carrier advanced to the enemy trench and deployed the assault team. The soldiers of the "Skala" battalion successfully drove the invaders out of their position, clearing the area. During the operation, drones were used to eliminate three Russian soldiers attempting to flee.

"This is what coordination, effective strategy, and clear communication between groups look like," the battalion emphasized.

The operation was conducted in close collaboration with the battalion’s aerial reconnaissance team, which monitored the battlefield in real-time.

Earlier in November, "Skala" showcased their scouts clearing enemy mines in preparation for potential offensive operations. The effort took place near Novogrodivka, where scouts used a quad bike and a reconnaissance drone with a thermal imager to locate and remove anti-tank mines under the cover of night.

The battalion noted that Russian forces had left TM anti-tank mines scattered on the surface, making them easy to detect and clear using drones. These efforts ensured safer passage for Ukrainian equipment along priority routes.
