The Special Operations Forces (SOF) of Ukraine have released footage showing their strikes against critical Russian military infrastructure in the Kursk region.
The video, published by United24 Media on YouTube, depicts Ukrainian forces using M142 HIMARS rocket systems to destroy key pontoon crossings, thereby disrupting Russian troop movements and supply lines.
The footage captures Ukrainian forces employing Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) missiles and ATACMS cluster munitions to target and eliminate these crossings.
The SOF operators, working closely with other Ukrainian Defense Forces units, identified and hit Russian engineering equipment to ensure the crossings were effectively taken out.
These pontoon bridges were crucial for Russian military logistics.
According to United24 Media, the Ukrainian forces also destroyed a range of other Russian military assets, including an advanced electronic warfare complex, a 152-mm D-20 artillery gun, and a depot storing ammunition, fuel, and lubricants.
Earlier, on August 19, Russian sources reported that Ukrainian forces had destroyed the last remaining bridge across the Seim River in the Glushkovsky District of the Kursk region.
