Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, is set to visit Romania on April 28, just a week before the country’s presidential elections, according to Ukrinform.
His trip to Bucharest is part of a larger Eastern European tour. This tour will also take him to Prague, Bratislava, Budapest, Belgrade, and Sofia.
According to reports from the Romanian portal G4Media, the visit is not focused on political meetings.
Instead, Trump Jr. will attend a business-related event called “Trump Business Vision 2025.”

Romania’s presidential elections are set to take place in May. The first round was initially held in November, where a lesser-known far-right pro-Russian politician, Calin Georgescu, emerged as the frontrunner.
However, the results were annulled by Romania’s Constitutional Court. This decision followed allegations that Russia had conducted a coordinated online campaign to support Georgescu.
The new election dates have been approved by the Romanian government, with the first round now set to be held in May.
