Julia Wandelt, the Polish woman who made international headlines by claiming she is Madeleine McCann, is once again pushing her case — this time with new DNA test results that she says support her theory.

After appearing on Dr. Phil in 2023, a DNA test confirmed she was 100% Polish, effectively debunking her claim that she could be the missing British girl.

But Wandelt has now shared results from a new test on Instagram, claiming they show she has British and Irish ancestry.

She insists that she has consulted an unnamed “world expert” who allegedly compared her DNA with material linked to the crime scene from Madeleine McCann’s disappearance in 2007.

According to Wandelt, the expert believes the results “strongly support” the possibility that Gerry McCann could be her father.

Despite her claims, Kate and Gerry McCann have reportedly refused to participate in any DNA testing to compare their genetic material with Wandelt’s.

Her own family, however, continues to reject her claims outright. After her Dr. Phil appearance, they released a public statement asserting that they have no doubts about her true identity. “For us as a family, it is obvious that Julia is our daughter,” they wrote, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Wandelt previously told the BBC that she suffered from memory loss in her early childhood, leading her to question her origins. Despite the scientific evidence against her, she remains determined to prove her link to the McCann case—whether the McCanns, or the authorities, acknowledge it or not.
