A Czech youtuber recently captured footage of Romanian scammers targeting tourists near the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Ziare writes.

The scammers were using a classic “shell game” scam, known as "black and white," to trick unsuspecting tourists into betting on where an object was hidden.

The vlogger, known as Honest Guide, reported that a group of people were coordinating the operation, with some acting as lookouts to prevent anyone from filming the scam in progress. Despite this, he managed to record the scene with a hidden camera.

Upon realizing they were being filmed, one of the scammers threatened the vlogger, saying, “If I give him one behind the ear, you’ll see how he behaves.”

Another scammer attempted to intimidate him further by sending a woman over to warn him that filming was not allowed.

The group reacted aggressively, with one member cursing and spitting at the vlogger as he continued to document the scam.

Honest Guide handed over the footage to the French police before sharing it on his social media channels to raise awareness about the scam.

His video highlights the tactics used by scammers to lure tourists and emphasizes the importance of vigilance when traveling in popular tourist destinations.

Despite facing threats, the vlogger remained committed to promoting ethical tourism and exposing fraudulent practices that exploit unsuspecting visitors.
