Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended warm congratulations to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on the 30th anniversary of his tenure in office.

The official Kremlin website released a telegram celebrating Lukashenko's long-standing leadership and significant achievements in Belarusian history, accoridng to Lenta.
In his message, Putin praised Lukashenko for his role in shaping Belarus’s modern state institutions and for notable successes in the country's social and economic spheres. He emphasized that Lukashenko’s repeated elections to the highest state office reflect his considerable authority and the trust he enjoys among his fellow citizens.
Close Collaboration
Putin also highlighted Lukashenko’s personal contribution to fostering friendly relations and cooperation between Russia and Belarus, as well as his role in the development of the Union State—a political and economic union between the two countries.
"I look forward to continuing our constructive and amicable dialogue and our close collaboration for the benefit of the fraternal peoples of Russia and Belarus," Putin stated, wishing Lukashenko good health, well-being, and further success in his governmental duties.
Amidst these celebrations, Lukashenko is expected to discuss future steps related to the ongoing Ukrainian crisis with Putin. The Belarusian leader has previously expressed the need for the conflicting parties to engage in negotiations as soon as possible, reflecting his stance on seeking a resolution to the conflict.
