President Vladimir Putin was treated to a grand banquet during his visit to Vietnam, as reported by Lenta.
The historic Metropole Hotel in Hanoi hosted the Russian leader on behalf of Vietnamese President To Lâm, offering a sumptuous array of dishes showcasing the best of Vietnamese cuisine.
A Feast of Delicacies
The menu included an exquisite soup with abalone and crab from the Cà Mau province, and spring rolls filled with lobster from Nha Trang.
Additionally, there was a radish and shrimp salad featuring seafood from the Hạ Long Bay, tuna pancakes from the Phú Yên province, and sturgeon caviar.
The chefs also prepared a selection of main courses such as barramundi baked in lotus leaves, grilled lamb ribs, and vegetables in plum sauce. Guests were also served Vietnam’s traditional beef pho soup. For dessert, coconut and lychee ice cream was offered.
Putin's Asian Tour
Earlier, during President Putin’s visit to North Korea, a reception featured dishes like stewed cod presented as a flower, chicken than, and salted fish with aromatic herbs.
President Putin arrived in Vietnam on the evening of June 19, flying in from North Korea where he had held comprehensive talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
Vietnam is expected to be the final stop in Putin's three-day trip.
