On September 25, SpaceX launched 20 Starlink satellites into orbit, continuing to expand its global internet coverage network.

The launch was confirmed by the company in a statement following the mission, as reported by Interfax.

The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from the SLC-4E launch pad at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California on Tuesday at 9:01 p.m. Pacific Time.

About an hour later, the satellites separated from the rocket's second stage and entered orbit.

This launch adds to the Starlink project, which has been growing since May 2019. SpaceX has deployed more than 7,000 satellites in total, with 6,400 currently operational.

In another demonstration of SpaceX's reusable rocket technology, the first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket, which was used for the 10th time, made a controlled vertical landing on the "Of Course I Still Love You" drone ship in the Pacific Ocean.
