A lawsuit has been filed seeking to invalidate the transfer of nearly 13 billion rubles ($143 Million) from the Russian subsidiary of IKEA to a related company in Ireland.

In March 2024, the Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region will consider a claim to invalidate a transaction involving the transfer of 12.9 billion rubles from the Russian LLC "IKEA Torg" (a subsidiary of Ingka Holding) to the Irish Fami Limited, affiliated with the asset management of the Swedish retailer Ingka Group, as reported by RBC.

The claim was submitted by the Interregional Inspection of the Federal Tax Service No. 1. According to the court's filing, the hearing is scheduled for March 5 of this year.

The court order requires the defendant to provide the credit line agreement, payment, and other related documents.

It is worth noting that IKEA paused its operations in Russia in 2022. In November 2022, it was announced that the remaining stock in warehouses was purchased by "Yandex Market" from IKEA.
