A routine flight from London to Singapore turned tragic when severe turbulence resulted in the death of one passenger and left thirty others injured.
The incident occurred aboard a Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-300ER, carrying 211 passengers and 18 crew members.
The flight, which had been traveling smoothly, encountered unexpected and intense turbulence. The sudden jolt threw passengers and crew around the cabin, leading to a chaotic and terrifying situation.
"We can confirm that people have been injured and that one person has died on board the aircraft," Singapore Airlines stated in a press release.
As a result of the turbulence, the plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Bangkok, allowing the injured to receive medical treatment.
