Turkish security forces have conducted anti-terror operations across five provinces, resulting in the detention of 25 individuals suspected of ties to FETÖ (Fethullah Terrorist Organization) and ISIS.
This was reported by CNN Türk.
Nineteen suspects were detained during coordinated operations targeting FETÖ in Istanbul, Sivas, Zonguldak, Kocaeli, and Ankara.
Searches of the suspects' residences uncovered digital materials and documents allegedly proving their cooperation with the organization.
ISIS-Related Arrests in Istanbul
Separately, anti-terror efforts in Istanbul led to the detention of six suspects accused of financing ISIS.
According to the investigation, the suspects collected donations and funneled the funds to conflict zones to support the terrorist organization.
This crackdown follows a series of anti-terror measures in Turkey.
Last October, after a terrorist attack on the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) facility in Kahramanmaraş near Ankara, authorities carried out a large-scale operation targeting the PKK and its affiliates.
