A 32-year-old woman sustained serious injuries after breaking into an outdoor pool in Bavaria and sliding down a water slide—unaware that the pool was empty.
The incident occurred in the town of Traunreut, located in the Traunstein district, late Friday night, reports Kurier.
According to local police, the woman, accompanied by two others, illegally entered the outdoor pool area.
For reasons still unclear, she decided to use the water slide, not realizing that there was no water in the pool below.
As a result, she landed on the hard, empty basin, causing serious injuries.
Authorities are still investigating how the group managed to gain access to the facility, which was closed at the time.
The woman was immediately taken to a hospital for treatment. The extent of her injuries has not been fully disclosed, but police have confirmed that they are serious.
